Description

Hush Board Polyester panels are available in light grey at 2440x1220mm in size. The 9mm Hush Boards are fire retardant class B making them highly suitable for classrooms and university accommodation, as well as other areas where fire safety is of prime concern.

The PET panels are lightweight and semi-rigid. They are very easy to work with, and, unlike the old Sundeala FRB boards, they do not need to be conditioned before installation. Easy to cut down to size, the Hush Board Polyester panels also offer good acoustic properties. Multiple panels can be placed to create a full wall installation.

Manufactured from 100% recycled polyester material: 65% recycled post-consumer waste plastic and 35% recycled pre-consumer waste plastic, the polyester boards make perfect notice boards and can be used with push pins or staples. The panels have a felt-like finish.

Each sheet weighs 5.5kg and they are sold in individual or, via customer service, in packs of 12 (with a bulk discount and special transport). Framing options are available from customer services.

PET Acoustic Panels

  1. Vacuuming: The soft, fibrous texture of PET Acoustic Panels can easily catch dust. Regular gentle vacuuming will help to keep them clean. Be gentle to avoid damaging the fibers.
  2. Spot Cleaning: If a PET Acoustic Panel gets stained, you can use a mild detergent solution and a soft cloth for spot cleaning and blot the area with a dry cloth to remove excess moisture. Avoid soaking the panel, as too much water can damage the material.
  3. Avoid Heat and Direct Sunlight: PET Acoustic Panels can fade or warp if exposed to direct sunlight or heat for prolonged periods. Ensure that they are installed in areas where they are not in direct contact with strong sunlight or heat sources.
