What makes the Lifetime range special?
Our Lifetime Whiteboards offer a top of the range, designer, frameless whiteboard with a scratch-proof and porous-free writing surface. This coating means you will get a lifetime of hassle free writing.

What are Lifetime boards made of?
Our Lifetime Whiteboards surface is vitreous enamel steel. This is the highest possible quality whiteboard surface and comes with a lifetime surface guarantee – hence the name of the product. Vitreous Enamel Steel, or VES, sometimes referred to as Porcelain, is an enamel that has been baked at 800 degrees Celsius to create a complete non-porous surface, identical to glass. As it is totally impermeable, marker ink used to write on these boards cannot penetrate the surface and can always be removed. Even when, accidentally, permanent markers are used, or if the dry marker ink is left on the surface for long periods of time, the surface can always be cleaned and revived to a state of first use.

Are Glass Writing boards better than Lifetime Whiteboards?
Glass writing boards are an easy to clean whiteboard surface and they are readily available in a frameless version. However, glass derives its magnetic receptiveness from the steel backer that is applied behind the glass, which means that the force of any magnets applied to glassboards needs to protrude through the 4-6mm tempered glass to gain traction and only extra strong neodymium magnets are suitable for use on glass boards. You can not use normal magnets or magnetic accessories, on glass boards and the Neodynium magnets are quite costly. Moreover, due to the construction and material, you will get a shadow glare when writing on glass which makes it much more difficult to read.

Can I get my logo or design printed onto a Lifetime Whiteboard?

How are the Lifetime Whiteboards installed?
The clever magnetic plates make these whiteboards extremely easy and safe to install. Simply drill the extra strong magnetic plates to the wall and magnetically fix your boards. This system allows you to avoid troublesome plugs and wires. The plates are positioned behind the boards and are therefore invisible, but in the event that you would like to move the boards to a different position, room or location, they are easy to remove and reinstall.

How do I clean my Lifetime Whiteboard?
Enamel whiteboards are easy to clean and maintain. Dry-erase markers can be effortlessly wiped off, and the surface is resistant to ink stains and ghosting. On arrival, wipe the board down with a soft, damp cloth. Use the MagiClean cleaner to remove any built up grease from transit, and wipe dry with another clean dry microfibre cloth. Now you should be able to use your Lifetime whiteboard. Wait a few seconds before wiping off marker pen with a board eraser. You should only need to use the MagiClean fluid on ink that has been left on the board for a long period of time, or roughly once a week, depending on usage.
