RAF Shawbury upgrades op. room
The operations and flight planning rooms at RAF Shawbury have been kitted out with the latest printed dry wipe notam boards made specially by Magiboards. The printed flight path maps are in constant use. "We mark every planned activity which has an impact on the low flying system. " says Corporal Moncur " Any balloons which are let off at school fairs, any activity whatsoever which affects low flying aircraft are all marked 7 days a week on the boards. We use the boards to help plot all royal flights over our airspace, be it helicopter flights or fixed wing. The magnetic dry wipe boards from Magiboards are easy to use; the quality of the print is outstanding. The air crew is able to decipher the information much more quickly and accurately.
